Fire, but feeling his age and illness, the failed filmmaker Leonard Fife (Richard Gere) wants to tell his life story that is unfiltered before it is too late. As a director of praised documentary exhibitions, he has a lot of proud, but his avoidance of a draft of war in Vietnam and his previous connection creates complex truths. Finally, when he decided to discover the truth and lies in his life and career, Leonard sits for an extended interview with his former students Michael imperiole, fulfilling candidates about his last EU (Jacob Elord) in the 1960s. After Leonard’s insistence, his wife and the necessary partner Emma (Uma Thurman) hears it all. Leonard’s success is treated with his failures, which remained against the facts and, since the man is fully purified of myth, Leonard has to deal with what is left.
